Where's my Choo-Choo

After telling about Jentry being a Daddy's girl, she also has a next-best-thing....her Choo-Choo! (Choo-Choo is my mom, Karla) We were at my Mom and Dad's for a few days last week and Jentry has become attached to Choo-Choo like she is to Jim. She wanted NOTHING to do with me while she was with her Choo-Choo. She would leave me in a heart-beat to let her Choo-Choo hold her and so then she got to sleep in the room so her Choo-Choo could take care of her! I know how to take advantage of a good thing when I see it! If she needed her Choo-Choo, who was I to stand in the way! Ha! Lettie is indifferent about most people except for me, but Jentry already has her favorites! Pretty good favorites if you ask me!

Daddy's Girl

Jentry is a Daddy's Girl to the fullest sense of the term. If Jim walks in the room, Jentry goes to him directly and crawls up his leg. She then wants nothing and I mean NOTHING to do with me. When he has to leave the room or the house, she won't come back to me. She just hangs on to him and won't come to me. Lettie loves her daddy but could care less if he is coming or going, Jentry feels the same way about me! We each have our own child!

Get Your Own

As my two children have been so blessed with being bald when they are little, poor Jentry still does not have ANY hair. With that being said, she LOVES to pull Lettie's hair all the time! (btw, Lettie NEVER pulled hair) Jentry was sitting in her high chair eating the other day and Lettie walked by her, a little too close, and Jentry rapidly grabbed a hand-full of hair. Lettie hollered and then said, "Let go Jenchey. That is MY hair and you tell Mom to get you some of your own!" Jentry let go and Lettie went on about her business. (Jenchey is how Lettie pronounces Jentry's name!)

Sittin' Pretty

Miss Jentry has decided that Lettie's little red chair is a great place to climb, sit, and fall out. She crawls up in the chair , then stands up, looks over the back of the chair and leans over. The chair falls over and she slides out. It is pretty good watching and she thinks it's a carnival ride! She always gets up with the look of "am I in trouble?" It is simply amazing that she just turned 8 months old and is on the go so well. She could slow down as far as I am concerned!!

Never Seen Snow White Look This Good

This is Lettie's version of what Snow White should look like: gloves, sun hat, and beautiful gown.

Sick of being SICK

Well, the girls have had a time this winter staying well. So, another day at the doctor and another round of breathing treatments for both and we should be well on our way to good health. Hopefully, by the time they get well, the weather will figure out it is SPRING and stay that way! (A girl can wish, can't she?) Lettie is now on daily asthma "maintenance" medicine. Maybe this will make these "flair-ups" fewer and farther between. We are sure hoping for this. We are thankful for our doctor, Dr. Fletcher, who's kids have had the same problems as my kids. He knows what to do with them!

The Girls Hanging Out

I have come in the living room several times today to find the girls standing at the ottoman watching TV together, so I decided to take a picture. They are so cute standing there.
